do you love me, do you need me, do you want me when i'm not there do you miss me, are you ever thinking of me, do you want me when i'm not there i open the door and i see your face drop, you think so much and love so little it's just like before, maybe i've seen your love stop, one too many times do you love me, do you need me, do you want me when i'm not there do you miss me, are you ever thinking of me, do you want me when i'm not there s'always something new, can't you just forgive me laugh at my flaws and find me charming, we don't need to talk, just shut up and kiss me do you love me, do you need me, do you want me when i'm not there do you miss me, are you ever thinking of me, do you want me when i'm not there do you love me, do you need me, do you miss me i spent my whole life thinking of you, never mind what i intended to do, waited my whole life just for you now i don't know where to find you, the distance between us hides you

it's no longer enough to lull myself to sleep, to a perfect tune or gorgeous melody sometimes i crave you next to me, to have and hold me tight i crave you next to me, to keep me through the night i never thought i could feel this alone, i never thought i feel so cold i crack a smile and i cast a dream, to feel your warmth wash over me sometimes i crave you next to me, to have and hold me tight i crave you next to me, to keep me through the night but as i wake feel no one, i peel my eyes to find you gone

i once thought i could forget you, clear the cobwebs from the corners of my mind but every now and then i see you and i realize i never left behind the thought of you i never found the perfect words to tell you, it took years to see you're the only one for me heard life's humor with the same ears, caught the cleverness with but one set of eyes you smiled my smiles, i cried your tears, toured you through my world but rarely recognized my love for you i never found the perfect words to tell you, it took years to see you're the only one for me i waited for the perfect time to tell you, but it's been too long / and now the moment's gone and how my life has changed in oh so many ways without you do you feel the same, i fear that only in my dreams you do i never found the perfect words to tell you, it took years to see you're the only one for me i waited for the perfect time to tell you, but it's been too long / and now the moment's gone

see the city lights beg for us tonight a rush runs through my veins i can't explain place your hand in mine, lose all sense of time smile your perfect smile as off we roam i feel my pulse begin to race as i look across your face so now you know what i dream of, tonight i feel like falling in love leave it all unsaid, read my eyes instead words can never tell all that we've felt i feel my pulse begin to race as i look across your face so now you know what i dream of, tonight i feel like falling in love

you can't tell me i'm wrong anymore, i feel the hope in my heart cause people like me we're suckers for it, built to laugh and to love and just believe we're hopeless it seems, lives lost in our dreams, incurable, at best, i guess you feel love is a dream, i agree, real as i've felt or have seen cause people like me we're suckers for it, wear our hearts on our sleeves and just believe we're hopeless it seems, lives lost in our dreams, incurable, at best, i guess you say i'm wasting my life in love with all that i find but how can you wake up each day and live without losing your mind except to be chasing a dream however inconceivable it seems i guess i'd rather just be happy and incurable

Words Apart 03:12
my heart's beating like before as you knock on that door there's a hole in my head from the things that you've said, you've broke my beaten heart there's a hole in my head from the things that you've said, you tore my world apart but if we try to change how we are, then we just might survive you don't call me anymore, and i don't see you no more and it's driving me mad that you're making me sad, i know you shouldn't stay but it's driving me mad that you're making me sad, and how i wish you'd stay but if we try to change how we are, then we just might survive there's a hole in my head from the things that you've said, i know you shouldn't stay and it's driving me mad and it's driving me mad and how i wish you'd stay and i don't want to cry, i don't want to cry, i know i'll cry tonight goodbye

it's no new revelation, i've been doing this too long i've seen a million bands, heard a billion songs, and most of them just sound wrong most musicians just don't have it, they'd sell their souls to buy a tune they buy a nice guitar, get told they're better than they are, and their egos start to bloom but your band really doesn't matter, it's only rock'n'roll it won't pave your way to heaven, but hell it moves my soul so keep it all in context, don't think that you're the next big thing be grateful for every gig you have and for every song you sing and don't take music too seriously, don't call yourself funky when you're white as can be if you think you're too big to play a house party, then why don't you make any money yeah that's why t.a.n.g. is my favorite band, they're the only ones that understand that sometimes i just want to laugh the night away the kid's microphone is a gas mask, the most creative thing i've seen if every band had the guts that t.a.n.g. has, we might actually have a scene they thrash the autumns and metallica with pure impunity and i love it when they mutilate bohemian rhapsody so don't take life too seriously, don't call yourself funky when you're white as can be if you think you're too big to play a smaller show, then your heart's not in it just your fat ego yeah that's why t.a.n.g. is my favorite band, when i see brad on bass he helps me understand that sometimes we all take ourselves far too seriously yeah that's why t.a.n.g. is my favorite band, they're the only ones that understand if you think they suck then the joke's on you, loosen up and start to sing cause sometimes we all take ourselves far too seriously

nobody's cool, we're all the same, you're not a player, life's not a game don't you think it's time we left high school behind you're not a stud, you're not the man, you're not a pimp, and i'm not a fan your misogyny is just a plea for l-u-v the only thing i've seen that's cool in my life is a mom who loves her child and a man who loves his wife your two tattoos don't make you tough, please quit the act i've seen enough you say you're different but you all end up the same just be yourself, don't fake the geek, don't say you're random or a freak dude you're not punk rock, we're all just human beings the only thing i've seen that's cool in my life is a dad who loves his kids and a man loved by his wife nobody's cool, put down your nose, i don't care where you bought your clothes can't you see it's time we left high school behind cause it's plain to see we're all just human beings
